I represent an organisation which works with LLUK

Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK) is the independent employer-led sector skills council for community learning and development, further education, higher education, libraries, archives and information services, and work based learning.

LLUK provides the strategic perspective for workforce planning and development across the four UK nations, develops standards for those working in lifelong learning and is the voice of employers in this sector on skills issues.

For further information about LLUK or about any of the topics listed below, please click on the appropriate link.

LLUK works extremely closely with a very wide range of sector stakeholders, partners and organisations at UK, national, regional and local levels and a strong emphasis on consultation is present in all activities undertaken by LLUK.

This website acts as an information portal providing latest news about developments in the lifelong learning sector, as well as information about events and projects relevant to your organisation, which are also available in the nations or areas of work pages and can be filtered by a combination of your organisation's nation and area of interest.

Information is also available about LLUK's standards and qualifications, research and equality and diversity work, and has also been categorised according to four other user groups.

Organisations working with LLUK may also be interested in the work of our subsidiary organisation, Standards Verification UK, which is responsible for verifying initial teacher training and also covers other forms of workforce training and development.
