Impact review - next steps for LLUK
The next steps for LLUK in preparing the Impact Review are to ensure that the demand from industry (as summarised by the five key themes) is considered in the development of LLUK's Sector Skills Agreement (SSA) by incorporating the Impact Review findings into the LLUK SSA. Please visit the SSA section of this website find out more.
Working with Sector Skills Councils (SSCs)
Following the initial review of SSAs, LLUK is looking to work collaboratively with other SSCs and partners across the UK to ensure that the lifelong learning workforce is equipped to respond to the needs of industry and of individual learners, both now and in the future.
Skills for Business Network colleagues can discuss activity relating to the Impact Review on the Impact Review pages on the SSDA extranet or email Bryony Taylor for more information.
Case Studies of good practice
A series of case studies are available, which demonstrate how LLUK is working with other SSCs to ensure that the lifelong learning workforce is equipped to deliver for the sectors.
Industrially relevant continuing professional development (CPD) for teachers, tutors and trainers in England
The Catalyst Programme in England is an example of our work that relates to the Impact Review theme of CPD. Managed by LLUK, the programme encompasses four key areas including Business Interchange, which gives FE staff the chance to work more closely with local businesses and to update their skills in industry.
Please visit the Catalyst website to discover how you can become involved, whether you are a learning provider or a SSC.
